OPEN. INSPECT. COMPARE.
Four formats. One useful dataset.
Download actual CSV, JSON, XLSX, and PDF files containing the same three fictional customer records. Choose the output that fits your next step.

The same records in a structured document with dataset and currency context.

An editable workbook with readable headings and deliberate cell types.

The samples contain customer_id, name, plan, and monthly_usd. Customer identifiers are text, monthly amounts are expressed in USD, and every customer is fictional. Plan labels and amounts are example data rather than prices for ExportAPI.com services.
Compare the records across all four files before exploring their differences in structure and presentation. The JSON includes dataset and currency context; the workbook and PDF add a readable presentation around the same records.

Fictional data · October 2026
Real sample files. Choose a format and take a look inside.
A useful inspection checklist
Confirm that each file opens in the intended application. Check all three identifiers, compare the amounts, and verify that the field names explain the values. In a spreadsheet, inspect the difference between the stored value and its displayed formatting. In the JSON file, inspect the relationship between the metadata and the records.
For your own dataset, extend the checks to empty results, missing values, long text, embedded punctuation, and data that changes during generation. These small samples make comparison easy; larger workloads need the lifecycle and validation decisions described in the API patterns and validation guide.
