PRIVACY

Understand what you share.

This notice explains the information involved when you read ExportAPI.com, download its public samples, or contact the site by email.

Reading and downloading

You can read the guides and download sample files without registering an account or submitting a dataset. The website does not provide an account form, payment form, file-upload form, or newsletter signup. The sample customer records are fictional and are supplied for inspection and testing.

Loading a website sends connection information to the systems serving it. That can include an IP address, requested page, browser information, and the time of the request. Hosting and delivery systems may process such information to serve pages, maintain reliability, and investigate abuse or technical problems.

Email you choose to send

If you email [email protected], your message includes the address and other information you choose to provide. That information can be used to understand and respond to the inquiry, investigate the reported issue, and maintain a record of the conversation.

Send only the information needed for your question. Avoid attaching production exports, passwords, credentials, sensitive personal details, or private download links. A fictional example or a redacted description is usually enough to explain a format or display issue.

Links and local downloads

Journal articles link to a relevant external editorial source. When you follow an external link, the destination operates under its own practices. A file you download is stored and handled by your browser, device, and any application you use to open it.

The sample files do not contain real customer information. If you adapt the examples to work with your own records, decide how to protect and delete those resulting files in the environment where you use them.

Questions about information

Contact [email protected] with a question about this notice or information you sent to the site. Describe the request without including unnecessary sensitive material. Include enough context to identify the relevant email conversation or website interaction.

This notice concerns ExportAPI.com’s public content and contact channel. A separate application that uses the ideas in the guides is responsible for explaining its own collection, access, retention, and delivery practices.
